Project Description
The project provides eight new GLA’s (general learning areas), a commercial-grade hospitality kitchen, a gym, therapy rooms, sensory learning areas, inspiring outdoor learning environments and student amenities.
The project also includes an architecturally designed garden terrace, providing opportunities for the school community to grow their own produce, for use in their new commercial kitchen.
“The staff at Wiley have a number of strengths I’d like to share. They obviously have exceptional technical skills and experience in the construction industry. Their organizational and communication skills are extremely good. For example, over the last 2 years of planning for our build they encouraged our leadership team to be part of the design and construction process and valued our input. As a result of this close collaboration the school will receive a new Learning Centre specifically designed to meet our student’s needs into the future.
Wiley also take great pride in working with us to provide the highest level safety and security possible on our school site and their construction site. They have worked extensively with the local community to ensure their needs and their properties are well cared for at all times during the construction process.
In conclusion, I would highly recommend WILEY – THE PROJECT DELIVERY COMPANY for any future constructions and confirm that they would be an extremely positive addition to any organization as they go through their own future planning ventures.” – Mark Kitching, Deputy Principal, Goodna Special School
