Brown Aqua Systems : Western Downs Regional Council

Project Description

Miles township ran out of drinking water due to major flooding and found they couldn’t produce enough water to cater for a subsequently increase in their population.

Wiley were engaged by local water specialists Brown Aqua Systems (working for the local council) to collaborate on the design and construction of a new reverse osmosis plant to upgrade the existing system and make the water drinkable.

Wiley designed and build the new building to house the water treatment equipment that Brown Aqua Systems put into place.

Reverse osmosis was chosen as the best way to filter the water as they couldn’t pull the bore water out of the ground.
