Wiley is honored to announce that we are a recipient of a Queensland AIB award for the Queensland Health’s QLD Health Modular Theatre Project in Toowoomba.
The Australian Institute of Building (AIB) has a long history of supporting individuals who contribute to the well-being of both the Institute and the Australian building profession. For more than fifty years the Institute has recognised these individuals, providing awards at different levels. Up against tough competition on Friday night, Wiley was awarded:
Professional Excellence | QLD Health Modular Theatre| Other Construction
Wiley’s Project Manager, Zane Taylor was present at the awards night with the Wiley team to accept this award. The project consisted of the refurbishment of Queensland Health’s existing facilities at Toowoomba Hospital. The hospital was experiencing significant growth, driving the requirement to install a modular operating theatre concurrently with a refurbishment of the existing fire services, both in an operational hospital environment over the period of 33-weeks, during COVID restraints.
Wiley CEO, Robert Barron said, “Congratulations to all the award winners at the Queensland Australian Institute of Building Awards. I am very proud of Zane, the Wiley team, our clients, our consultants, our suppliers and subcontractors. These awards are a testament to every individual’s diligent hard-work as a member of the team led by our project lead Zane Taylor.”
