Upper Mount Gravatt State School and The Queensland Department of Education has engaged Wiley to deliver a new learning centre. Wiley has started construction on the new facility and has been on site since early October.
This project is the construction of a two-storey general learning facility for early years primary school students. This facility will include four prep classrooms and six General Learning Areas (GLAs) as well as a staffroom, and student and teacher amenities.
Wiley Project Director, Tom Wilson said “It’s fantastic to be on site at Upper Mount Gravatt State School. We are looking forward to working with The Queensland Department of Education, key stakeholders and subcontractors to deliver a safe working environment and a great project outcome.”
“Our key subcontractors, currently onsite are Hoffmann Civil, RJM Plumbing, ATSH Steel, Kleemann Elevators, Platinum Electrical, GCC Retaining Walls, Bluform Formwork, Professional Concrete Services and Brizmasonry. We couldn’t deliver this project without them. ” Tom said.
Upper Mount Gravatt State School extension is due for completion in May 2021.
