Workers in the construction industry are 8 times more likely to die from suicide than from a workplace accident, losing a worker to suicide every second day. Wiley are proud to be working alongside Mates in Construction in their efforts to promote a culture of connection and support, helping us see when a mate is in trouble, and to make sure all our workmates get home to their families.
We are taking part in MATES Big Lap and aiming for a legendary NINE laps around Australia this May. All our people across all our locations anywhere in the world, can participate in this virtual event and walk, run, ride, swim, etc. to raise awareness about mental health and suicide in the construction industry.
